Serrano vs. Meinke – DAZN – March 2 – 9 pm ET

Amanda Serrano is gearing up to defend her trio of featherweight titles (WBA, IBF, and WBO) against Nina Meinke on March 2, 2024. This showdown is slated for 12 rounds at the 126 lbs weight class and will light up the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, all streaming live on DAZN. Standing at 5′ 5.5″ with a 65.5″ reach, Serrano brings a formidable 46-2-1 record (30 KOs) to the ring, facing off against the slightly taller Meinke at 5′ 6.5″, who holds a record of 18-3 (4 KOs).

Serrano’s Puerto Rico’s first-ever undisputed world boxing champion, breaking barriers for both gents and ladies. She’s defending her glittering collection of belts – the unified IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO, and Ring Magazine featherweight world titles. And get this – she’s fighting 12×3, the same as the men! Recently, she chucked her WBC title in the bin, giving the old heave-ho to any group that doesn’t back women’s choice for a 12×3 scrap.

Sharing the spotlight is Jake “The Problem Child” Paul (8-1, 5 KOs), the cruiserweight world champ hopeful, strutting into his 10th professional scrap after a knockout victory. Also strutting their stuff on the card is MVP’s new gem, the triple-threat featherweight, actor, and model Javon “Wanna” Walton. And don’t forget Serrano’s Puerto Rican protégés, Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez (27-3-1, 14 KOs) and the rising star Krystal Rosado (2-0, 1 KO). If you’re itching to grab a ticket, they’re up for grabs starting December 27th at 9:00am ET on And for an extra slice of excitement, a press conference is popping up on January 18th in Old San Juan during the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián.

Let’s roll back the tape on Serrano’s journey – she kicked off her reign in 2019 by taking Heather Hardy to school in a 10-round masterclass, snagging the WBO belt. Since then, she’s been guarding that belt like a dragon with its gold, notching six defenses. In August 2023, she gave Hardy a second chance but still came out on top. She also tangled with Erika Cruz in a bloodfest for the undisputed title. Remember her brawl with Sarah Mahfoud in England? That’s when she added the IBF title to her collection. And who can forget her clash with Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden in 2022? That scrap was so epic, it nabbed Fight of the Year nods from Sports Illustrated and The Ring. Most recently, she waltzed through a unanimous decision against Danila Ramos, chucking an astonishing 1103 punches.

Serrano’s buzzing about her upcoming fight: “Fighting at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico is like winning the lottery for me. Being the first-ever undisputed champ from our stunning island is the cherry on top. I’m psyched to strut my stuff over 12, three-minute rounds. Hats off to the IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO, and Ring Magazine, MVP, and my crew. And a big shout-out to Jake Paul for letting me flex my muscles on his undercards. Now, he’s in my corner, and that’s pretty rad.”

On the flip side, Nina “The Brave” Meinke, straight outta Berlin, Germany, is stepping into the ring, ready to rumble and carve her name in history. She’s been turning heads across Europe, recently nabbing the WBA Gold World Featherweight title and the IBF Inter-Continental Featherweight title.

Meinke’s pumped for the fight: “We’ve been drooling over this matchup for ages. I’m trained, amped, and set to be the first German lady to go the distance in 12 rounds. Serrano’s a trailblazer in women’s boxing, and I’m stoked to join the fight for equal rights. Watch me be the best version of myself and make this a fight to remember. And new!”
