A total of four major titles will be at stake when the undefeated British, WBC International, and European champion Davies (13-0, 5 KOs) goes up against former Euro-king and current WBO International champion Cunningham (32-7, 7).

Davies, 27, is confident of his victory, claiming to see his career on a rising trajectory despite ongoing doubts about his abilities. “People still doubt me, but I am just taking each fight as it comes, looking to win and I want a world title,” stated the Telford native. He also addressed a recent controversy over a disputed sparring session with Cunningham.

33-year-old Cunningham, aka ‘The Iceman,’ is anticipating an intense competition. “It will be interesting to see what happens. Obviously, Liam has had a lot to say on camera about how he is gonna do this and gonna do that, so we will see if he backs it up,” said the southpaw.

Northampton’s Eithan James (10-0), leading cruiserweight prospect Oronzo Birardi (6-0, 5) from Mainz in Germany, Worcester’s undefeated Midlands Area welterweight champion Owen Cooper (8-0, 2), Telford super lightweight Macaulay Owen (5-0,1), Batley super lightweight Amaar Akbar (3-0), and London heavyweight Boma Brown (1-0) will be featured in supporting fights.

Frank Warren, the promoter, expressed his anticipation for the fight. “This is a cracking little show with the sort of domestic championship fights the fans want to see,” Warren said. He further stated that while there appears to be an ongoing tension between Liam and Jason, the real deal will be what transpires after the first bell rings.
