In his stead, Boris Crighton has instilled a warning to Arthur, stating that an “easy night” shouldn’t be expected. Crighton, who was previously Arthur’s sparring partner, is relishing his golden opportunity and is confident in his ability due to the fact that he’s lighter than Arthur, but still possess power.
This fight could mean the world to Arthur’s career, as a victory could put him in line to fight some of the leading light heavyweights in the world. However, in order to keep his dreams alive, he must first deal with Crighton. The former is a two-time Great Britain Amateur Championships winner and his eagerness to take advantage of his s chance is evident. Additionally, he believes the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds are where the bout will be won, thus ensuring an exciting events.
Off the undercard, Chloe Watson stands out as she plans on showcasing her skills in a six-round showdown to continue her journey to the top of the sport. Additionally, Kane Gardner and Conah Walker have been matched up for a super lightweight bout, presented as a potential firefight. James Moorcroft also steps in for an English title eliminator, headlined against Nathan Bennett, which is predicted to be the highlight of the night.
The first bell will sound at 17:45.
